Time Travel Found: What Cabled Knit Is Next
Words and pictures are how stories travel from the past on into the future. Funny how bits of memory surface while doing other things – picking up sticks, raking clumps of sod plowed up. The same holds true for hitting a wall while knitting – working out a pattern with repeats came out well, but not exactly as envisioned. While raking new options emerged – doing the pattern as an I-cord, making the pattern more open (add rows of knitting between cables), using a duplicate stitch or working out a cable stitch, right, left and center.
