Stitches East in Hartford, Connecticut, is an event/workshop/trade show/booth extravaganza, Thursday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 14; (open to the public Oct. 12 and on the weekend). Stitches Etc. is Oct. 15 and Oct. 16. It’s indoors at the Connecticut Convention Center with plenty of room and a light-filled two-story lobby area perfect for knitting or resting to go walking around again.
Meet authors, designers, fellow fiber-lovers of all stripes. Sit in for a fashion show, try out the yarn wall. Or just revel in the yarn, yarn, yarn and more yarn. We met author, knitter and designer Kristin Nichols at a Stitches East.
